About Botperch
Botperch is an independent guide to where an AI agent can live: which cloud sandbox, virtual machine or server fits the job, what it costs, and the catch.
Who runs it
Botperch is built and maintained by WyrdWerk. The site's code and every data file are public in the sandbox-guide repository, so any number on a page can be traced to the file it came from.
What it covers
16 providers, 16 features, 78 specific capabilities checked for every provider, and 10 guides that start from what you want to run, from a personal agent to a remote MCP server. Costs come from one calculator that shows its arithmetic; here is how it works.
How it stays current
Each provider's prices are re-read from its own pricing page on a weekly schedule, and a person reviews every change before it is published. Every page shows the date its facts were checked, and dated changes at each provider are listed on what changed.
What it does not do
The guide carries no ads and no affiliate links. It is desk research: no provider account was created and no sandbox was started or billed, so every statement about behaviour is what the provider documents, not something measured. Where a provider publishes nothing, the page says “not published” rather than guessing. How we checked has the full method and its limits.
Corrections
If a price or a claim is wrong, use the “Report something wrong” link at the foot of any page, oropen an issue with a link to the provider's own page.
For AI agents
The same facts are available as plain files: start at llms.txt, or fetchthe provider index and everything in one file.
